Considerations...

Verdana--Why can't blogger update their fonts? I am very tired of the sorry selection that is here. Be more considerate of your patrons. I am going to be changing fonts while writing this. Bitching done.

Trebuchet--Amy is home today sick for day #4. I was home Monday and now Thursday. It concerns me because of work. Nothing I can really do about it though. It is out of my hands. She has had a cold. She should be going to school tomorrow just in time to get everything she needs to be busy this weekend and play catch up. She has missed so much school already and gets stressed when she gets back and has to make up everything. It is a vicious circle.

Times--I am feeding her lunch right now, a tasty totinos cheese pizza. Crunchy and nummy. She had a distress call cuz a big booger fell out of her nose and she didn't know where it landed. I did a rescue mission and brushed it off her shoulder. Imagine not being able to pick your nose. No more deep digging to get that annoying booger that will not come out. I have to use qtips to clean the little buggers outta of it. Been doing it a lot with the cold. Kleenex has been our best friend.

Helvetica--I have to do seven paragraphs cuz there are seven fonts.

Georgia--I went to physical therapy last night for my knees. I have arthritis in my knees and have lost some flexibility. Doctor recommended pt along with synvisc shots. Let me tell you about the shots. The needle is  thissssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss long. It penetrates the skin in the upper outside quadrant of the knee and proceeds to puncture between the joints where it is spews out the synvisc. The shots are in both knees for a five week course. I have had 4 shots so far with 6 to go. Now the time this was done, the needle punctured my skin and hurt cuz these are not tiny skinny needles. When it got to the joint the first time, I thought I was gonna jump off the bed. It hurt somethin awful and then I had to have it done in the next knee. Second time around this week was not as bad. The prick hurt but the rest didn't. My theory is now that there is some lubricant in there it stopped it from hurting so much. Mondays are my day of shots. Few days to go.

Courier--is not my favorite font. It is the last name of my sister in law but spelled different.

Arial--last but not least. Speaking of Ariel, Amy and I watched the Little Mermaid a few days ago. AAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAA AAAAAA AAAAAAA  AAA AAAA. Love that movie and the music. Best movie to sing along with. Love it.

If anyone reads this, vote on the best font. I love saying Hell ve  ti ka. Times is boring. Courier is boring. What kind of name is Trebuchet? Sounds like a wine. Verdana sounds like a rich girl name. Oh well outta here for a while. Love and kisses.

Personally, I like ariel. I have started using that for blogging. Things are settling a little bit around here, but as always it's a process and I have my ups and downs.

I am so sorry Amy is sick, but at least it wasn't h1n1. You are in my prayers!

My own little corner of hell...

I believe in this thing called life we're all assigned our own little corner of hell to live through to help define the person we are and will be. It's not a case of feeling sorry for myself, although, an occasional pity party can work wonders. It's more how we face it, how we adapt to the situation that God has given us. I Cor 10:13 says  The only temptations that you have are the same temptations that all people have. But you can trust God. He will not let you be tempted more than you can bear. But when you are tempted, God will also give you a way to escape that temptation. Then you will be able to endure it. My saturation and endurance point is at the zenith and I'm standing about to crumble. It's so hard for me right now. I called to talk to my mom today because she is one of the few people who will listen and has a good perspective of the situation. Take a few steps back...

Instead of complaining and whining I'm going to take a few steps back and see what all the challenges have produced or brought to me. Amy's feet and legs were badly infected and swollen. The only way they could be treated and healed was by her hospitalization. The Lord used Jim to save Amy's life. God had laid her on his heart with an urgent need to pray. He visited us and told her and then prayed for her. This convinced her she needed to go to the ER. We discovered a serious breathing issue that Amy had when she was hospitalized. Amy would've died and we had no clue. Amy had stopped breathing and had a CODE BLUE respiratory failure. An emergency team swarmed her room and I was alone. Bob has worked at the hospital a lot for years. I called him and he only heard a few words and came. When I saw his face in the door, behind all the staff, I went to him and fell apart.
