Mississippi View

Dane and I took a ride on the Mississippi Queen, a riverboat, that goes through the last lock on the Mississippi at St Anthony Falls. It was really fun. I really enjoyed it.

When you go into the lock, you drop 50 feet and 9 million gallons of water empties out in the river. People have scratch names and messages into the wall of the lock. A guy on the boat put his initials and offered to do mine. I declined.

There was this houseboat just north of downtown Minneapolis. I didn't know there was such a thing here considering our winters.

There is a Mill City Museum that was built and incorporated part of the destroyed General Mills flour mill. I loved the view from the river.
