Step one, step two, step three, trip, get up, step one...

Someone told me today that I was an overcomer. I face things and keep on trudging along.

I have never thought about myself in that way before. It is true though sometimes I am on my face more than I am on my feet. Steps can be very difficult at times, but when I look back on the trail there is the path where I have been.

I took a break from things for a while as you can tell from the date of my last blog. It was necessary to step back and re-evaluate. I think I am ready to move on again.

I would like to share my favorite poem.

The Road Not Taken

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth.

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same.

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet know how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

You are truly an overcomer. I find you are always a strong person no matter what happens and I admire you for this.
